Multiple LUNs is the new feature in KernSafe iSCSI SAN, which can be created by creating Advanced Target. Multiple LUNs means that multiple devices can be gathered into one target in order to save user's time when logging on many devices on the same server. Creating Multiple LUNs Device Follow the steps below to create Multiple LUNs device: Step 1. Select Advanced Targets and click the Add button on the top toolbar of the management system, then the Create Advanced Target wizard popup up. Choose Multiple LUNs in Configuration Type window.
Step 2. Add simple targets to Multiple LUNs. Press Add to select the simple targets. Check the devices that you want to use and press Add. Note: User should select at least two devices. The Pos means the LUN ID and you can change the simple device position by click button "Up", "Down" to change position. Step 3. Finish Creating iSCSI Target

Authorization Mechanism. Global Authorization: Indecate target will inherit authorization information (CHAP and IPFilters) from global, otherwise target will have its own authorization information. Concurrent Access: Indicate target allow concurrent read-write operations. Report Readonly: Indicate target will report as read only device if initiator don't have write access. Press the Finish button to complete iSCSI target creation. |
