Hi,
Following on from my previous issue, when trying 2.08 on 64 bit (Server 2008 R2), i can't successfully use a partition target >2TB. I have tried using no generated partition, and a GPT partition, but when its mounted on the client (Windows 7 again) it doesn't show the volume as formatted.
The 32bit install on Server 2003 works fine, with GPT generated partition, i tried a 3.6TB volume and it was OK. Volumes smaller than 2TB work on x64 using MBR.
Thanks,
Toby

Re: x64 partition targets bigger than 2TB
Hi Toby,
After a several test cases, we can reproduce it, but after I checked the "Persistent Exclusive access" option, the problem is gone.
It is a problem due to the denied write access by Windows 7, did you have selected this option?

Hi Charles, I can't remember if i checked that option or not - i will fire up the virtual machine and try it, and if that does not fix the problem i will report back
Thanks for looking into it.
