Problem writing perf

Post by Peter2121 » Tue Sep 07, 2010 7:57 am

Hello,
I'm evaluating iStorage actually.
I'm using iometer to test the performance.
Under Windows without iStorage I have 70Mb/sec read&write (block 32K).
When I create an iSCSI target (image mode, without CHAP) and access it from Windows 2003 Server VM (disk VMDK under ESX 3.5) I have 50Mb/sec read BUT 5Mb/sec write. Probably something is wrong in my config.
Anyone has an idea?

Sorry we couldn't reproduce your problem, I tested a series cases, and every things went Ok.
Can you please tell me more details? Such as the exactly version of iStorage Server, Server OS and client OS.
