Simple Question

Post by Madbenny » Fri Jun 17, 2011 12:22 pm

OK, this should be simple. How do I do an upgrade from 2.36 to 2.40? I have 2 servers with the ultimate license and some clustering setups, will ANYTHING change when doing the update?

Thanks

Madbenny,

In order to update to newer version of iStorage Server when you have already set up clusters, you would first need to logout from all targets to prevent any possible data corruption.

After you will finish with update process, you can login into those targets again.

Thank you for a quick reply. I will stop all cluster links between both iStorage NAS units and then update.
