Hello,
we are using the Ultimate version of iStorage Server in the test run.
We have two Targets to use the HA function - the replication with 10 Gigabit Ethernet directly are connected.
At the moment synchronise like, unfortunately, only with approx. 80 megabytes per second between both Targets.
At which speed can handle to your system?
Are 10 Gigabit synchronisations possible? Or is the maximum reached with 1 Gigabit???
We optimized the connectionsettings between the 10 GBe Adapters but at Sync they just stayed at 7 % of usage. When i transfer a file from one Server (first array) to the other server ( second array) it goes up to 70 %
Please, urgently around info.
Many thanks in advance,
Sven Thiele
10 GBe HA Sync verry slow ( only 7% from maximum speed)

we do not do any limitation in our product, as you only got 80 Mbytes /s speed in 10G Ethernet environment, I think there may be some bottleneck in your environment,
what is the bandwidth of your storage media?
Transfer files may store the file data into memory cache, so you will get a better speed at the beginning.

Try the new 2.36 beta posted in this forum. It seems to have fixed the performance issues we were seeing on Server 2008R2
