Install KernSafe Virtual iSCSI SAN into ESXi Host || Hyperconverged solution

Post by Manivel » Wed Nov 27, 2019 3:57 am

Hi Support Team,

We are currently evaluating the hyperconverged Virtual iSCSI SAN into ESXi Hosts. Could you please advise ?

Our setup:-

4 ESXi hosts in a cluster with HDD/SSD. We like to create a hyperconverged solution along with 4 ESXi hosts local storages(like VSAN/Nutanix) so that we can get high availability incase if there is any issues on any ESXi host. Is this possible ? or let us know how to use this hyper converged solution along with ESXi cluster ?

Thanks,

Yes, after installed Virtual SAN into ESXi hosts, the host will provide both virtualization and storage services, you can refer to those white papers for setting up HA, as the management console is completely the same as iStorage Server, those white papers work for Virtual SAN as well.
