When I open the TotalMounter program I get a UAC prompt in windows 7 x64. So, if I go into the settings and tell the TotalMounter controls to run when windows starts, I will get a UAC prompt every time I log into my computer. This is annoying and I really don't understand why it happens.
I've been using Daemon Tools Lite for years and it doesn't require any UAC window to create virtual drives or mount images into them.
The only real difference between the two programs, for my use case, is that TotalMounter's virtual drive allows write operations on the image.
Is there a way to get rid of the UAC prompt, without disabling UAC or doing weird hacks with the task scheduler? I'd like to run the TotalMounter controls when windows starts but don't want to have to elevate it's privileges. It seems weird that the controls would require elevated privileges, since they're basically emulating a user putting a disk in the drive and I don't need elevated privileges to insert a disk.

Thank you for your advice, we will improve it in the upcoming versions, for the current version, you may disable auto-start while windows boot.
