Kernsafe Totalmounter RW ISO size?

Post by devnullius » Fri Feb 03, 2012 4:24 am

Hello,

Can I change the default dvd size for an iso? The default 4,2GB is too little, I'd like to add a little more...

Anywhere an ini or a registry setting I can change to achieve this?

Thanx : )

We regret for the inconvenience, it is fixed size, we can improve it at the next released version.

Humbly request you release one version with a disk capacity 4.7 gb
Because I was trying to use this software for creating recovery media images. 4.38 will not allow... Thank you

When I choose to mount/create a virtual DVD/RW and choose disc type DVD 4.38 G bytes, the resulting iso image capacity reads only 4.27GB in TM and only 4.28GB in windows 7. (See screenshots below) This is not same true size as blank DVD5 burnable media disc. I suggest change disk type to 4.7 G byte so virtual iso image becomes same size as it would be if it were a real R/W DVD disc. This might also be a problem with CD size as well where real burnable CD may be 700MB and TM creates only 650MB virtual image file although I have not compared the CD size of a TM virtual disc image against the size of a real blank CD Media.

Seeing as how it's been more than 19 months since you promised this feature, and no new version has been released, can you give us an update on this? Is there an ETA for releasing the next version? Has development completely ground to a halt? If so, would you please consider open-sourcing the project (or spinning off part of it into a new open source project) so that the community can continue development?
