I tried using the documentation at: http://www.kernsafe.com/tech/iStorage-S ... Server.pdf, but it doesn't work. I set it up exactly as the instructions indicate, but XenServer only sees one path. Is there any updated documentation available?

Hi tim,

Please note that you need to add portal address on each iSCSI target, please see the page 4 and the page 12, and the target name on both server should be the same.
We have tested the feature with the newest version (2.20), that there is no problem.
Please try again, if you still have the problem, I can do a further assist for you.

Olivia.

After trying again with 2.28 everything seemed to work fine, but after a reboot of the XenServer it only recognized 1 of 1 paths and any attempt to detach and reattach the storage repository resulted in the iStorageService hanging on one of the servers.

Please advise.

Hi Tim,

Can you please tell me:
which version of iStorage Server are you using, 2.20 or 2.28 beta?
And which machine rebooted, the xen or iStorage Server?

I'm currently using 2.28 beta.
The issue occurs after I reboot the XenServer.

After running a verify and sync it still crashed after the reboot, but has been stable since. The one thing I noticed is that there are six "MirrorDevice" Initiators listed for the target. Is this normal?

Thank you for your information, we will test more on this solution the multi-connections from MirrorDevice is not effect the normal using, but we will fix it before formal release.
