Server crash when cache enabled for partition target

Hi,
I have been checking out iStorageserver (running 2.08) as a backup solution and found the following problem:

If i create a partition bridged target, and then enable the cache, storage server crashes, and corrupts the underlying partition.
The Dr Watson data is:

The application, C:\Program Files\KernSafe\iStorage Server\iStorageService.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 09/27/2010 @ 14:30:48.965 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 0040ED45 (iStorageService)

App error is:
Faulting application iStorageService.exe, version 2.0.10.727, faulting module iStorageService.exe, version 2.0.10.727, fault address 0x0000ed45.

Client is a Windows 7 x64 box - i have tried from a Server 2008 R2 machine with the same result.

Partition targets work fine (at least in 32bit, more in next post). Image targets work with cache on.
I don't think size is an issue - i tried a 900GB, 1800GB and 2700GB partitions.
I wouldn't bother reporting this except the underlying partition is corrupted, and can't be fixed - so all the data is lost. If cache isn't meant to be enabled for partition devices, it shouldn't be an option.

If you need any more information to find the problem let me know - i have a vmware vm so i can install test code, get logs etc.

Thanks,
Toby
