Connecting to the same target

Post by tubular031 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 12:57 pm

I just installed the trail version to eval. I am trying to connect more than one client to the same target and it will not let me. Am I doing something wrong or is this a limit of the 20 day demo?

In the demo mode can I also play around with the mirroring and fail over?

Connection limitation of trial version is 50, do you have checked the opton "Enable multiple initiators with full access connected" in the final step of the Create iSCSI Target Wizard?
If you did not check you can right click on the target node and select "Properties", Change to Device Settings page, there is a same option, you need to make this option selected when you want the target used for storage sharing or clustering purpose.

Yes, you can, there is no other limitation except time and connection count.
