Using iStorage Server to store/run Hyper-V .vhd

Like the title says I'm trying to setup iStorage Server to use as the back end storage for all of my hyper-v virtual machines.
Running Server 2008 Enterprise r2 as the Hyper-V Host. Dual Hex Core 2.2ghz Processors, 32gb Ram, (6) 250GB Hard Drives in raid 6, Gigabit Ethernet.
The End goal is to run 4 Server 2008 Images with light usage, 2 Windows XP Images with mid to light usage, and one SuSe image with fairly heavy usage.
My iStorage Server is an HP Ml350 g5 2.5ghz Quad Core, 4gb RAM, (4) 2tb Hard Drives in RAID 5 for Data, (2) 512gb Hard Drives for the OS.
My iscsi target is configured to use the physical disk with exclusive access, I've enabled chap, created a group and granted the chap user full access.
So with that out of the way.
When I try to migrate any of my Hyper-V VMs over to the iStorage server the copy goes fine, but when I try to reattach and start the server it hangs right away and causes my Host Server to become unresponsive.
Any suggestions?
