ReadOnly the only connect option to target

I have iStorage installed on a Windows 2008 SBS server and it was running fine during the trial period with IP address authorization. After the trial period I switched to the free version and set up CHAP authentication. Unfortunately my Initiator running on Windows 7 won't authorize and I'm only getting ReadOnly access to the iSCSI drive.

On the server, in the Management Console I have created a user with password. I created an administrative group, put the user in it and have given that group Full Control rights to the iSCSI disk.

On the initiator side, I have the target IP address and I enable CHAP with the username and password I setup on the server. When I click OK I get an error that Authentication Failed.

If I do a quick connect I can connect to the target but with only ReadOnly access.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Please do not use quick connect, just press the connect and then press the Advanced... button in the Connect To Target dialog.
Specify your user name and secret to log on.

As I noted in my post, when I try a normal connection specifying a username and password I get an "Authentication Failed" message.

Sync message from support mail:
Olivia (staff) wrote: Please follow the instructions as follows (Win7):

Open Microsoft iSCSI initiator, change to Discovery page, press the Discovery Portal... button.

Type server address, port and press OK, do not specify the CHAP user name and secret.

Change to Targets page, select a target and press the Connect button.

In the Connect to Target dialog, press the advanced button and type user name and secret to logon.
