Problem with not being able to format disks

I installed a trial version of iStorage 1.43 on Windows 2008 Web Server edition 64bit. Able to create image drives with no problem and made them full access via any IP. On my client side I had 2008 Data center version with dual 1 Gbe interface setup with MPIO. I was able to use windows ISCSI connetctor to connect to my istorage box and and saw the drive just fine in Drive Management. I put the new volume 600 gig image volume online and initialized it. I tried to do a format using quick format and got an error saying it was unable to complete format. I then tried to do a regular format and it went thru and got to 100%, but then told me it was unable to format the drive. I have a copy of istorage running on another machine with this same OS and its fine. Not sure why I can't format image drives on this box. I've reformated and re-installed the OS and still no go. I have tried from 2 different clients to attach and try to format image files with no luck
Any ideas of what to look for that would keep me from being able to format an image drive??
The server where istorage is loaded on has an LSI controller with raid 10 for storage.
Thanks!

This problem is the same as
http://kernsafe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=126, it has been resolved after 1.5x. And now there is a beta version avaliable:

Upgraded the server to 1.50 and created a new image but still unable to format it on my client. Will try this on a differnt server/OS to see if its got something to do with the web server edition I am trying to run it on.
Thanks!

Installed 1.43 on a different server/OS. Used Window 2008 Datacenter version. Was able to attach clients and format without problems. May be an issue with iStorage working under the Windows 2008 Web Edition or something flaky on my server hardware for that one machine. Have you you guys tested to see if this works under Windows 2008 Web Edition?
In any case will avoid using Web Edition in my testing for now.
Thanks!

We have tested it on Server 2008 Web, but does not reproduce the problem whether quick format or not, and we have tested the formatting operation many types of situations and a variety size of the file image device.
But the difference is that we used local attached SATA 1.5T disk, is your Window 2008 Datacenter version machine has the same headware as the 2008 web?

The 2008 Web Edition server was an LSI controller with 8 drives using RAID 10, the Datacenter server was an LSI controller with just 2 drives in RAID 1. Different models of LSI controllers.
My new goal is to try get iStorage running on 2008 R2 Hyper-V (free edition) Will let you know how that goes as the current server that has 2008 Web edition will be overwritten with this new OS.
Thanks!
