Hello, I'm trying iStorageServer Free Edition on a Windows 2003 SE Server SP2.

After installing, I'm not able to have the iStorageServer service running.

I got in the event viewer the following messages:
Faulting application iStorageService.exe, version 1.43.9.1022, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000.

The application, C:\Program Files\KernSafe\iStorage Server\iStorageService.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 12/02/2009 @ 13:32:30.570 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 00000000 (<nosymbols>)

The iStorageService service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 3 time(s).
I've tried on another server but I got the same error. It works fine on Windows Vista.

Is there something I need on W2K3 to have it running?

Regards
ermmau

Nothing need to run.
Is your 2003 server a clean machine? have you installed old version of iStorage Server or other iSCSI target software before?

The server is clean, just the iSCSI Initiator from MS was installed and mcafee antivirus.
