share network folder

Post by Poanza » Thu Nov 12, 2009 8:46 am

Hi all..
I don't know if i'm writing into the right forum...

I would like to solve this problem:
I want share a iSCSI drive with 2 or more client with read/write features.
If clientA add a file to the iSCSI drive, clientB must see this new file.
If both cilents are editing a file, the drive store the last saved version edited by the last client.
Both clients need to see the drive as local drive.

is this possible?

thank you!
Fabio

Hi, It is not feasible if you just use iSCSI only, you need running iSCSI under NAS, or other distribute file system.
Here is an article, http://www.kernsafe.com/Article_Product ... =5&&aid=16, may be some useful for you.
