Very slow performance when mirror partner has failed

Post by marka » Sun Apr 03, 2011 11:59 am

Hi
I've just been testing version 2.30 on Windows 2008R2 and noticed really bad perfromance (like 183KB/s writes) and freezing when the mirror partner is offline or failed. Deleting the mirror application brings the performance back to normal.

I would want to run with a failed miror for a number of hours before any manual intervention was needed.....

I have seen the problem on generic image files and vhds using both HA and mirrored setups - any help appreciated.

Thanks

Matt
