Failover Target Device Size

Post by jdh284 » Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:19 pm

I am trying to setup a failover application on V2.0 beta2 x64 and always get the error "The target device size is smaller than the base device, operation can not be processed." I originally tried it with an Image File target. Both machines had the same size image file created, but I received the error. As a test, I then created targets with identical (same size) hard drive partitions on both machines and I again received the same error when I tried to set up the failover. The sizes were on both hosts were the same in both instances. Did I miss a step or is it a bug in the beta? Thanks for your help!

It is an issue in Management Console :( , please wait another 3 days, the formal version will be released on 10, June.

I am having the same problem with v2.0 ultimate edition.
The small 1GB Quorum disk is syncronizing fine as an apllication.
The ClusterSharedVolume disk on 10 TB Fails !!!
The target device is smaller than the base device.
Even if i make it larger than the base device i get the same error.
THIS IS NOT WORKING !!!!
NEED a solution yesterday ....
