Hello,
are considering the following scenario.
One iStorage server with two or more network cards, each connection into another switch and a server with similar configuration.
EX
iStorage Server iSCSI Target
------------------------
NIC 1: 192.168.1.11/24 <-> SW1
NIC 2: 192.168.2.11/24 <-> SW2
server iSCSI Initiator
------------------------
NIC 1: 192:168:1.12 / 24 <-> SW1
NIC 2: 192.168.2.12/24 <-> SW2
I need to set up MPIO, so as to increase the throughput and reliability combined.
Unfortunately I never found a document on this scenario. In all bandaged up with only one network card on one server iStorage.
Thank you for any insights.

Re: MPIO
KaBub,
In order do it, you can configure multiple connected session (MCS).
First while discovering a target portal, press on the Advanced button and set up a Initiator and Target Portal IP. (Figure 1)
Then after connecting to a specific iSCSI Target, click on it and choose Properties (Targets tab). On the bottom you will see a MSC... button, click on it and add another connection. (Figure 2)
In the target properties, under Session Information, you will notice current number of connections. (Figure 3)
I hope that answered your question.
If you will have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
