iStorage HA questions

Post by jpons » Fri Apr 19, 2013 1:31 am

Hello,

I am using a trial version of iStorage Server in HA in a test environment and I have some questions about the product:

- To what size can be every Target? We need to present LUN's of 4, 8 and 10TB. Is that possible? functional? What is the size limit or maximum number of LUNs to present?
- We are going to use in a VMware environment, and testing was successful. Now, with a total loss of a one server (total disaster), what would be the steps to follow for a good recovery.
- You can make snapshots of a target in HA?

thank you very much

Thank you very much for contacting us,
We don't have any limitation in target capacity, you can create as big as OS supported, so 10TB is accepted size.

I'm not sure of your mean, do you mean one server is some problem and stopped working, if so, you can make a synchronization from good server to this server after it is ready to work.

Snapshot is not supported with HA.

Please let us know if you have any other requires.
