Olivia,
I see that Kernsafe have extended the functionality of the OSX iSCSI Initiator to work with other 3rd party targets. This is very good news. I also see that you have made it very affordable for end users. While I have not had the chance to test this yet, I would like to congratulate you guys on seeing the opportunity in the market place.
Regards
Barry

I am trying to use your latest version of the iSCSI initiator on El Capitan connecting to a QNAP. I am able to connect using another iScsi initiator (that has other problems), however after entering the portal IP and hitting refresh nothing happens except on the QNAP side I get "Discovery Session System Login Fail" . dmesg on the qnap shows:
[1585522.190756] InitiatorName key or value not received in first login request.
[1585522.197916] iscsi_target_init_negotiation: fail from iscsi_target_locate_portal()
[1585522.205591] __iscsi_target_login_thread: iSCSI Login negotiation failed.

I tried setting the initiator name to what I use with the other initiator ( iqn.2004-04.com.qnap:ts-853pro:iscsi.500gb.f46b17 ) to no avail-- same result.

Can this initiator not be used with a QNAP NAS or is there a different issue?

Thanks.
