Same problems here, no way to add an IP.
Sorry to see there's not any form of a manual to solve this. Support also seems to lack (no support responses in this thread)
However, it's free and I guess it 'comes as is'.

In my case, it also goes 'as is', straight to the dumpster.

Same here, tested on 10.7 10.8 10.9 and 10.10. No way to add a portal.

I am wondering if KernSafe support is reading this forum.

I have opened a supportticket #728290 but no response.

I will keep you posted.

Sorry currently doesn't support other vendor iSCSI target except KernSafe self iSCSI target software, as KernSafe provide cross platform iSCSI SAN software which can work on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

Hello Olivia.

Do not really understand.

iSCSI Initiator your product is not from another manufacturer.

So I do not understand, as you do not give him support.

I think the solution is simple, a new version with a valid signature for the extension.

Thanks for everything.

However, Apple has stopped to provide signature certificate for third-party software vendor, so we need research other solutions.

Olivia,

I gather from your response that the iSCSI Initiator X will not connect to any other iSCSI targets from any other vendors equipment. e.g.: a Netgear NAS as one prospective customer has asked on this thread.

It is a proprietary product that only works on with other Kernsafe products, and is that the strategic direction for this product ??
Or is it a bug, that your company is likely to resolve in the near future. ??

I had never heard of KernSafe Technologies until I discovered your "Free" iSCSI Initiator X product, which I see great potential for on Apple products. Depending on the answers to the 2 questions above, I may have to promptly forget about Kernsafe Technologies into the future. I see this as a marketing opportunity that your company may lose, as you could have charged a small amount, and taken out the only other competition that I am aware of for such a product on OSX. They want almost $100 for their product. Charge $30 and you would have taken out the market, if you have a quality product. Those of us keen to test such products are happy to trial them to see the quality and feature set. Once we are happy, most of us would then purchase, and potentially recommend and install on other sites.
You could have had a lot of people coming to your company for other Products. But of course we (the consumers) want an industry standard iSCSI Initiator that will work outside the Kernsafe Product suite.

I look forward to the answers for the questions I have posed above.

Regards

Hello Everybody.

I just installed iSCSI Initiator X on Maverixks and at first it did't mount my target.

Perhaps it's the same in Yosemite ?

So I restarted the mac and now it's mounting, but is not able to log on.

I'll be posting if I find the solution :)
