Re: Feature Request for HA Sync
I'd agree having some kind of multiple-link / load balancing would be nice, but it doesn't appear that is where the performance bottleneck is currently. For example when doing a verify there is relatively little network traffic (checksum values are all that are being passed?), but performance is now...

Re: Proper Multipath Setup for XenServer 5.6 FP1
After running a verify and sync it still crashed after the reboot, but has been stable since. The one thing I noticed is that there are six "MirrorDevice" Initiators listed for the target. Is this normal?

Re: Proper Multipath Setup for XenServer 5.6 FP1
I'm currently using 2.28 beta.
The issue occurs after I reboot the XenServer.

Re: Proper Multipath Setup for XenServer 5.6 FP1
After trying again with 2.28 everything seemed to work fine, but after a reboot of the XenServer it only recognized 1 of 1 paths and any attempt to detach and reattach the storage repository resulted in the iStorageService hanging on one of the servers.
Please advise.

Proper Multipath Setup for XenServer 5.6 FP1
I tried using the documentation at: http://www.kernsafe.com/tech/iStorage-Server/iStorage-Server-High-Availability-iSCSI-Target-SAN-for-Citrix-XenServer.pdf, but it doesn't work. I set it up exactly as the instructions indicate, but XenServer only sees one path. Is there any updated documentation av...

V2.20 Failover Initial Sync Extreamly Slow
I have two Ultimate Edition iStorage Servers (one on Windows 2008 and another on Windows 2008 R2). Before setting up the mirror device I verified both iSCSI targets could be seen and transfer data to the other server at decent rates (> 60 MB/s). When I go back and setup the targets for failover (one...

Post Failover Recovery
If I have 2 iStorage Server nodes with volumes configured for failover, and one node fails. How is the mirror reestablished when the failed node comes back online? Are the virtual disks fully resynced or is some kind of differencing done to only update the portions that changed? I have a couple of f...

Mac OS 10.6 Initiator
Is there an iSCSI initiator for Mac OS 10.6 available that works well with iStorage Server 2? I've tried GlobalSAN's, but it hangs about 1/4 the way through when creating a new partition map.
