Tape Library / Auto Loader – KernSafe iStorage Server

Hi All,

Just seeing if it’s possible to create a KernSafe iStorage Server - iSCSI target of a Tape Library / Auto Loader that shows up on the remote server as a Tape Library / Auto Loader.

At current I can only get the device to show up as a single tape drive unit, as the ‘Medium Changer’ does not map across to the client server under device manger.

Do you mean using iStorage Server for remote briged tape device or using virtual tape library?

Hi Charles,

We 'were' attempting to use iStorage Server for remote briged to a phycical tape library.
I say 'were' as I have now moved the tape library to the server physical server.
