G:\ is not accessable

Post by markusjbear » Sat Aug 04, 2012 2:24 pm

I am running WindowsXP with Service Pack3 and i have installed TotalMounter. When I create a CD RW drive it starts with drive E:\ which is the CD drive. When I click on drive E:\ it gives me the following massage

E:\ is not accessible
Incorrect Function

I have mounted another drive which then makes drive G:\. Drive G:\ in a new drive and does not conflict with any other drives but gives me the same error.

Could you tell me what is going on so I can create and mount a virtual CD drive?

Mark.

Hi Mark,

Did you create CD-RW not DVD-RW?
DVD-RW is not supported by the windows xp built-in burner, then this error is right.
And did you install any CD/DVD burner or CD/DVD related softwares on your computer?
